Mielo was awarded The British Bear Award 2000

Icicle was the winner of the medium bear category at the Buitenwerwagting Bear Fair in Cape Town 1999.

I was commissioned to design a bear for Daimler Chrysler South Africa to be presented to their German Director Professor Hubbert on the occasion of his 60th birthday. I consider this a great honour and one of the highlights of my career as a bear artist. I was thrilled to be nominated in the British Bear Artist Awards 2002.
